Bhaskaran (Bhaskaran Master, 21 April 1924 - 25 February 2007) was a famous Malayalam poet and lyricist.  He was a lyricist, film director, film actor, All India Radio producer, freedom fighter, early communist activist and journalist.  He is remembered as a genius who has made significant contributions to the field of Malayalam music.


 * Tintu Luka * - `` Tintu Luka (born 21 April 1989) is an international sportsperson from Kerala.  Tintu hails from Iritti Karikottakari in Kannur district.  P.T.  Tintu trained at Usha's Usha School of Athletics (Koyilandy).  The Olympic Gold Quest is sponsored by Tintu, who holds the Indian national record of 800: 1: 59.17 seconds.  Tintu surpassed Shiny Wilson's 15-year-old record of 1: 59.85 seconds. In 2008, Tintu won a silver medal at the Asian Junior Athletics Championships in Jakarta.  At the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games, Tintu finished second in the women's 800 meters in 2: 01.25 seconds.

 * John Low * - John Law (21 April 1671 - 21 March 1729) was a Scottish financier.  He explained that money is only a substitute for exchange and that trade provides the basis for money.  During the reign of Louis XV, Law was in charge of the finance department in France.  In 1716 the Bank of Low France formed the private bank Banque Générale.  The Scarcity Theory of Value and the Real Bill Principle are two theories formulated by John Lowe.

 * Ushakuntala Devi * - `` Shakuntala Devi (November 4, 1929 - April 21, 2013) was an Indian-born mathematical genius.  Shakuntala Devi is known as the "Human Computer".  As a writer, Devi has authored numerous novels and books on mathematics and astrology.  Shakuntala Devi discovered by mind the 23rd square of the 201 digit number. A group of mathematicians, journalists and students gathered at Imperial College London on 13 June 1980.  Shakuntala Devi's computer suggested two thirteen numbers.  7,686,369,774,870, 2,465,099,745,779 and so on.  It was the duty of Goddess Shakuntala to find out the multiplication of these by mental calculation.  In twenty-eight seconds they reached the correct answer of 18,947,668,177,995,426,462,773,730.  The incident is listed on page 26 of the 1995 Guinness Book of World Records


 * 🌷Bharathidasan * - `` Bharathidasan (April 29, 1891 - April 21, 1964), better known as Puratchikavi (Revolutionary Poet) after Subramanya Bharathi, was the most famous Tamil poet of the twentieth century.  He was first called Periyar Ramasamy.  His real name was Kanakasubburathinam.  He posthumously received the Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award in 1970


 * 🌷Rajakesavadasan * - `` Raja Kesavadas (17 March 1745 - 21 April 1799) was the Diwan of Travancore.  He was the Diwan of Karthika Thirunal Rama Varma and later Thirunal Balarama Varma, the Maharajas of Travancore.  CV  Two historical novels by Raman Pillai, Dharmaraja and Ramaraja Bahadur, feature Rajakesavadas as the central character.


 * 🌷Edward Victor Appleton * - `` Edward Victor Appleton (September 6, 1892 - April 21, 1965) was a prominent United Kingdom physicist who pioneered the use of radars in the construction of various radar technologies.


 Eleanor Ducey (October 3, 1858 - April 21, 1924) was an Italian actress who starred in Emily Zola's Therese Raquin.  Eleanor's acting style has been praised by the famous playwright Bernard Shaw.


 * അAnsam of Canterbury * - `` Ansam of Canterbury (born 1033 - died 21 April 1109) was a Benedictine monk and philosopher who was Metropolitan of Canterbury in England from 1093 to 1109.  Ansome was the first to put forward an ontological argument for the existence of God.  Some believe that he was the originator of the school of thought which later became known as Scholasticism in Christian thought.  In an epistle issued by Pope Clement XI in 1720, he was elevated to the rank of Doctor of the Church.

 * 🌷Pitro della Velli * - `` Pitro della Velli (2 April 1586-21 April 1652) was an Italian traveler who visited India in the seventeenth century.  In 1650, Velli published the first volume of his travelogues.  1624 - A note dated December 21st mentions a voyage to Calicut.  There are descriptions of Keralites' simple style of dress and hairstyle.
