Vidyakiranam Scholarship: Children of differently abled can apply till July 30

Children of financially disadvantaged parents with disabilities can apply until July 30 for the 'Vidyakiranam' scheme, which provides financial assistance for education. Scholarships are available for both parents and one person with disabilities. Scholarships of Rs. 300 / - for classes one to five, Rs. 500 / - for classes one to five, plus Rs.

Must be BPL, have maternal or paternal disability level of 40% or above, not eligible for education funding under other schemes, and must be studying in government recognized institutes / courses. Scholarships are offered for a maximum of 10 months to all classes. New applications must be submitted each year to renew the scholarship.
