◾നിയമസഭയില്‍ സ്പീക്കര്‍ എ.എന്‍. ഷംസീറും കെ.ടി. ജലീല്‍ എംഎല്‍എയും തമ്മില്‍ തര്‍ക്കം. നിശ്ചിത സമയത്തേക്കാള്‍ പ്രസംഗിച്ച കെ.ടി. ജലീലിന്റെ മൈക്ക് ഷംസീര്‍ ഓഫാക്കി. ചാന്‍സലര്‍ സ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്ന് ഗവര്‍ണറെ നീക്കുന്ന ബില്ലിന്മേലുള്ള ചര്‍ച്ചക്കിടെ ജലീലിന്റെ സമയം കഴിഞ്ഞെന്നു സ്പീക്കര്‍ പലതവണ മുന്നറിയിപ്പു നല്‍കി. എന്നിട്ടും ജലീല്‍ പ്രസംഗം തുടര്‍ന്നതോടെയാണ് മൈക്ക് ഓഫാക്കി അടുത്തയാളെ പ്രസംഗിക്കാന്‍ വിളിച്ചത്.

◾ചന്ദ്രബോസ് വധക്കേസില്‍ ജീവപര്യന്തം തടവിനു ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട വ്യവസായി മുഹമ്മദ് നിഷാമിന് വധശിക്ഷ നല്‍കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് കേരളം സുപ്രീം കോടതിയില്‍. ഹൈക്കോടതി ശരിവച്ച ജീവപര്യന്തം തടവുശിക്ഷയ്‌ക്കെതിരെയാണ് സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ അപ്പീല്‍. അപൂര്‍വങ്ങളില്‍ അപൂര്‍വമായ കേസായതിനാല്‍ വധശിക്ഷ നല്‍കണമെന്നാണ് സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യം.

◾മുല്ലപ്പെരിയാറില്‍ പുതിയ ഡാം പണിയാന്‍ കേരളത്തിന് അധികാരമില്ലെന്ന സുപ്രീം കോടതി വിധി പുനപരിശോധിക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് ഹര്‍ജി. ഡാമിലെ ജലനിരപ്പ് ഉയരുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ ഡാമിനു സുരക്ഷ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളുണ്ടെന്ന് മാത്യു നെടുമ്പാറയുടെ ഹര്‍ജിയില്‍ പറയുന്നു. പരിശോധിച്ച ശേഷം പരിഗണിക്കുന്ന കാര്യം അറിയിക്കാമെന്ന് ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് അറിയിച്ചു.

◾കെ റെയിലിനു സര്‍വേ ചെയ്ത ഭൂമിയിലെ നടപടികള്‍ അവസാനിപ്പിക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് തുടര്‍ സമരത്തിനിറങ്ങുമെന്ന് സില്‍വര്‍ ലൈന്‍ വിരുദ്ധ സമരസമിതി. അടുത്ത നിയമസഭാ സമ്മേളന കാലത്ത് നിമയസഭ വളയുമെന്ന് കണ്‍വീനര്‍ രാജീവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. അതിനു മുന്നോടിയായി ഒരു കോടി ആളുകള്‍ ഒപ്പിട്ട നിവേദനം മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്കു നല്‍കും. സില്‍വര്‍ ലൈന്‍ വിജ്ഞാപനം റദ്ദാക്കണം. കേസുകള്‍ പിന്‍വലിക്കണം. അദ്ദേഹം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.

◾സിറോ മലബാര്‍ സഭ എറണാകുളം അതിരൂപതയിലെ ഭൂമിയിടപാട് കേസില്‍ വിചാരണ കോടതിയില്‍ ഹാജരാകുന്നതില്‍നിന്ന് ഒഴിവാക്കണമെന്ന കര്‍ദിനാള്‍ മാര്‍ ജോര്‍ജ് ആലഞ്ചേരിയുടെ ആവശ്യം സുപ്രീം കോടതി അംഗീകരിച്ചില്ല. ഇന്നു കാക്കനാട് മജിസ്‌ട്രേട്ട് കോടതിയില്‍ ഹാജരാകേണ്ടതാണ്. ഭൂമിയിടപാടുകളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട കേസുകള്‍ റദ്ദാക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് കര്‍ദിനാള്‍ മാര്‍ ആലഞ്ചേരിയുടെ ഹര്‍ജി ജനുവരി രണ്ടാംവാരം പരിഗണിക്കും. പള്ളികളുടെ ഭൂമിയും ആസ്തിയും വില്‍ക്കാന്‍ ബിഷപ്പുമാര്‍ക്ക് അധികാരമില്ലെന്ന ഹൈക്കോടതി ഉത്തരവ് സ്റ്റേ ചെയ്യണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് വിവിധ രൂപതകളും സുപ്രീംകോടതിയെ സമീപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

◾മരടില്‍ സുപ്രീം കോടതി ഉത്തരവനുസരിച്ചു പൊളിച്ച ഫ്ളാറ്റുകളില്‍ രണ്ടു ഫ്ളാറ്റ് നിര്‍മ്മാതാക്കളുടെ ഭൂമി തിരിച്ചു കൊടുക്കണമെന്ന് സുപ്രീം കോടതി. ഗോള്‍ഡന്‍ കായലോരം, ആല്‍ഫ സെറീന്‍ എന്നിവരുടെ കണ്ടുകെട്ടിയ ഭൂമി തിരികെ നല്‍കാനാണ് ഉത്തരവ്. പൊളിക്കലുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് കോടതിയുടെ എല്ലാ നിര്‍ദേശങ്ങളും പാലിച്ച സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് നിര്‍ദ്ദേശം.

◾അറബിക്കടലില്‍ വടക്കന്‍ കേരള - കര്‍ണാടക തീരത്തുള്ള ന്യൂനമര്‍ദ്ദം ഇന്ത്യന്‍ തീരത്തുനിന്ന് അകന്നെങ്കിലും വ്യാഴാഴ്ചയോടെ തീവ്രന്യുന മര്‍ദ്ദമായി ശക്തി പ്രാപിക്കും. കേരളത്തില്‍ ഉച്ചക്കു് ശേഷം ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടയിടങ്ങളില്‍ ഇടിമിന്നലോടു കൂടിയ മഴയ്ക്കു സാധ്യതയെന്ന് കാലാവസ്ഥ നിരീക്ഷണ കേന്ദ്രം അറിയിച്ചു. ആന്‍ഡമാന്‍ കടലില്‍ ചക്രവാതചുഴി രൂപപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. വരും ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ ഇതു ശക്തിപ്രാപിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യ - ശ്രീലങ്ക തീരത്തേക്കു നീങ്ങിയേക്കും.

◾ഗവര്‍ണറെ ചാന്‍സലര്‍ സ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്നും മാറ്റാനുള്ള ബില്‍ പാസാക്കാന്‍ നിയമസഭയില്‍ ഭരണപക്ഷവും പ്രതിപക്ഷവും ഒത്തുകളിച്ചെന്നു ബിജെപി സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷന്‍ കെ. സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍. കേരളത്തിലെ 14 സര്‍വകലാശാലകളിലും സിപിഎമ്മിന്റെ ആധിപത്യം സ്ഥാപിക്കാനുള്ള ബില്ലാണു പാസാക്കിയത്. ബില്ലിനെ അനുകൂലിച്ച വി.ഡി. സതീശനെ പിണറായി മന്ത്രിസഭയിലെ ഉപമുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയാക്കുന്നതാണ് നല്ലത്. സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.

◾കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് വിട്ട മുതിര്‍ന്ന നേതാവ് കെ വി തോമസ് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് നേതാവ് ശശി തരൂര്‍ എംപിയുമായി ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ കൂടിക്കാഴ്ച നടത്തി. തന്റെ ചുമതലയിലുള്ള ട്രസ്റ്റിന്റെ പരിപാടിക്കു ക്ഷണിക്കാനാണ് പോയതെന്ന് കെ വി തോമസ് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. സിപിഐഎമ്മില്‍നിന്നും തനിക്ക് പരിഗണന കിട്ടിയില്ലെന്ന ആരോപണം ശരിയല്ലെന്നും പദവി മോഹിച്ചിട്ടല്ല സിപിഎമ്മിനോട് സഹകരിക്കുന്നതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.    

◾ചാവക്കാട് മല്‍സ്യബന്ധനത്തിനിടെ ഫൈബര്‍ ബോട്ട് മുങ്ങി കാണാതായ മൂന്ന് തൊഴിലാളികളും രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. അപകടത്തില്‍പ്പെട്ട എടക്കഴിയൂര്‍ സ്വദേശി മന്‍സൂര്‍, കുളച്ചല്‍ സ്വദേശി ജഗന്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ കടലില്‍ നീന്തുന്നത് മറ്റൊരു ബോട്ടിലെ മത്സ്യതൊഴിലാളികള്‍ കണ്ടു രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇവരെ ബോട്ടില്‍ പൊന്നാനി തീരത്തെത്തിച്ചു.  

◾ബോട്ടിന്റെ പങ്കായം പൊട്ടി നിയന്ത്രണം വിട്ട ബോട്ടിലെ നാലു മത്സ്യ തൊഴിലാളികളെ കോസ്റ്റല്‍ പൊലീസ് രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി. കാസര്‍കോട് അഴിമുഖത്തുനിന്ന് രണ്ടു കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ മാറി കടലില്‍ മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തില്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെട്ട കമലാക്ഷിയമ്മ എന്ന ബോട്ടിനേയും ജീവനക്കാരേയുമാണ് രക്ഷിച്ചത്.

◾ഭാര്യയെ ശല്യം ചെയ്തയാളെ ഭര്‍ത്താവ് സ്‌ക്രൂഡ്രൈവര്‍ കൊണ്ട് കുത്തിക്കൊന്നു. തൃശൂര്‍ ജില്ലയിലെ മുരിങ്ങൂര്‍ സ്വദേശി താമരശേരി വീട്ടില്‍ മിഥുന്‍ ആണ് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്. കാക്കുളിശ്ശേരി സ്വദേശി ബിനോയ് പറേക്കാടനെ അറസ്റ്റു ചെയ്തു.

◾ഇന്ത്യയും ചൈനയും തമ്മിലുള്ള സംഘര്‍ഷം രാഷ്ട്രീയവല്‍ക്കരിക്കരുതെന്ന് എകെ ആന്റണിയുടെ മകനും കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് നേതാവുമായ അനില്‍ കെ ആന്റണി. ചൈനീസ് പ്രസിഡന്‍ ഷി ജിന്‍ പിംഗും ഇന്ത്യന്‍ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയും തമ്മില്‍ ജി 20 ഉച്ചകോടിയില്‍ ചര്‍ച്ച നടത്തിയതിനു പിറകേയാണ് സംഘര്‍ഷം ഉണ്ടായത്. 2019 ലും ഇതുപോലെ കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയ്ക്കു പിറകേയാണ് ആക്രമണമുണ്ടായതെന്നും അനില്‍ കെ ആന്റണി പറഞ്ഞു.

◾മദീന സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിനെത്തിയ മലയാളി ഉംറ തീര്‍ഥാടകന്‍ കുഴഞ്ഞുവീണ് മരിച്ചു. കോട്ടയം തലയോലപ്പറമ്പ് താവളത്തില്‍ അബ്ദുല്‍ കരീം (76) ആണ് മദീനയില്‍ മരിച്ചത്.

◾യൂത്ത് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് സംസ്ഥാന എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് അംഗവും മലപ്പുറം വെളിയംകോട് ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് മുന്‍ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റുമായ റിയാസ് പഴഞ്ഞി കോണ്‍ഗ്രസില്‍നിന്ന് രാജിവച്ചു. സിപിഎമ്മിനൊപ്പം ചേര്‍ന്ന് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുമെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം ഫേസ് ബുക്കില്‍ കുറിച്ചു.

◾റിസര്‍വ് ബാങ്ക് റിപ്പോ നിരക്ക് ഉയര്‍ത്തിയതിനു പിറകേ, സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ബാങ്ക് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ ഉള്‍പെടെയുള്ള രാജ്യത്തെ വിവിധ ബാങ്കുകള്‍ നിക്ഷേപ വായ്പാ നിരക്കുകള്‍ ഉയര്‍ത്തി.

◾അഞ്ചു ഹൈക്കോടതി ജഡ്ജിമാരെ സുപ്രിംകോടതി ജഡ്ജിമാരാക്കാന്‍ കൊളജീയം ശുപാര്‍ശ. രാജസ്ഥാന്‍ ഹൈക്കോടതി ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് പങ്കജ് മിത്തല്‍, പാറ്റ്ന ഹൈക്കോടതി ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് സഞ്ജയ് കരോള്‍, മണിപ്പൂര്‍ ഹൈക്കോടതി ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് പി വി സഞ്ജയ് കുമാര്‍, പാറ്റ്ന ഹൈക്കോടതി ജഡ്ജി എ അമാനുള്ള, അലഹബാദ് ഹൈക്കോടതി ജഡ്ജി മനോജ് മിശ്ര എന്നിവരെ സുപ്രിം കോടതി ജഡ്ജിമാരാക്കാനാണ് ശുപാര്‍ശ.

◾പൊലീസുകാരന്‍ ആത്മഹത്യ ചെയ്ത സംഭവത്തില്‍ ജഡ്ജിക്കെതിരെ കേസ്. ജയ്പൂരിലെ എന്‍ഡിപിഎസ് കോടതി ജഡ്ജിയുടെ കമല നെഹ്‌റു നഗറിലെ വസതിയില്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്തിരുന്ന സുഭാഷ് മെഹ്‌റ നവംബര്‍ പത്തിനാണ് ശരീരത്തില്‍ മണ്ണെണ്ണയോ പെട്രോളോ ഒഴിച്ച് കത്തിച്ചു മരിച്ചത്. മരിച്ച പോലീസുകാരന്റെ കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളുടെ പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് ജഡ്ജി കെ എസ് ചലനയ്ക്കെതിരേ കേസെടുത്തത്.

◾രാജീവ് ഗാന്ധി ഫൗണ്ടേഷനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ചോദ്യം ചോദ്യോത്തര പട്ടികയില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയതിനാണ് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് എംപിമാര്‍ ലോക്‌സഭയിലെ ചോദ്യോത്തര സമയം തടസപ്പെടുത്തിയെന്ന് കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി അമിത് ഷാ. ഇന്ത്യ - ചൈന അതിര്‍ത്തി സംഘര്‍ഷം ചര്‍ച്ച ചെയ്യണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു പ്രതിപക്ഷം പാര്‍ലമെന്റില്‍ ബഹളംവച്ചിരുന്നു. കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് ബഹളമുണ്ടാക്കിയതിനു കാരണം രാജീവ്ഗാന്ധി ഫൗണ്ടേഷനുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ചോദ്യത്തിനുള്ള ഉത്തരം ഒഴിവാക്കാനാണെന്നാണ് അമിത് ഷാ പരിഹസിച്ചത്.

◾ഗുജറാത്ത് കലാപകേസിലെ പ്രതികളെ വെറുതെ വിട്ടതിനെതിരെ ബില്‍ക്കിസ് ബാനു നല്‍കിയ ഹര്‍ജി പരിഗണിക്കുന്നതില്‍നിന്ന് സുപ്രീം കോടതി ജഡ്ജി ബേല എം ത്രിവേദി പിന്മാറി. 2004 മുതല്‍ 2006 വരെ ഗുജറാത്ത് സര്‍ക്കാറിന്റെ നിയമകാര്യ സെക്രട്ടറിയായി ബേല എം ത്രിവേദി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

◾രാഹുല്‍ ഗാന്ധിയുടെ ഭാരത് ജോഡോ യാത്രയ്ക്ക് ഫേസ്ബുക്കില്‍ പ്രചാരണത്തിനായി വന്‍തുക ചെലവിടുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് ആരോപണവുമായി ട്വീറ്റുകള്‍. ഭാരത് ജോഡോ യാത്രയിലെ രാഹുല്‍ ഗാന്ധിയുടെ ചിത്രം ബൂസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ വന്‍ തുക ചെലവിട്ടതിന്റെ സ്‌ക്രീന്‍ ഷോട്ടുകള്‍ സഹിതമാണ് ട്വീറ്റുകളില്‍ ആരോപണം ഉന്നയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

◾സംഘര്‍ഷമുണ്ടായ തവാങില്‍ യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ നിയന്ത്രണ രേഖയിലെ സാഹചര്യങ്ങള്‍ സാധാരണ നിലയിലാണെന്നു ചൈന. പ്രശ്നങ്ങള്‍ പരിഹരിക്കാന്‍ തുറന്ന ചര്‍ച്ച വേണമെന്നും ചൈന ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.

◾യുഎഇ സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിനെത്തിയ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രി എസ് ജയ്ശങ്കറും യുഎഇ വിദേശകാര്യ - അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര സഹകരണ മന്ത്രി ശൈഖ് അബ്ദുല്ല ബിന്‍ സായിദ് അല്‍ നഹ്യാനും കൂടികാഴ്ച നടത്തി. അബുദാബി ഗ്ലോബല്‍ മാര്‍ക്കറ്റില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്ന രണ്ടാമത് ഇന്ത്യ ഗ്ലോബല്‍ ഫോറത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാനെത്തിയതായിരുന്നു എസ്. ജയശങ്കര്‍.

◾വിമാന യാത്രക്കിടെ യുവതി പ്രസവിച്ചു. ഇക്വഡോറിലെ ഗുയാക്വിലില്‍ നിന്ന് ആംസ്റ്റര്‍ഡാമിലേക്കുള്ള കെഎല്‍എം റോയല്‍ എന്ന ഡച്ച് വിമാനത്തിന്റെ വാഷ്റൂമിലാണ് ടമാര എന്ന യുവതി പ്രസവിച്ചത്. ഇക്വഡോറില്‍ നിന്ന് സ്പെയിനിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്രയിലായിരുന്നു യുവതി. വിമാനത്തില്‍ യാത്രക്കാരായി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഡോക്ടറും നഴ്സും സഹായത്തിനെത്തി. ഗര്‍ഭിണിയാണെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ലെന്നാണു യുവതി പറയുന്നത്.

◾ഇറാനില്‍ നാലു മാസമായി തുടരുന്ന ശക്തമായ ഹിജാബ് വിരുദ്ധ പ്രക്ഷോഭങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ലോകകപ്പ് വേദിയിലും ഐക്യദാര്‍ഢ്യം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചതിന് ഇറാനിയന്‍ ഫുട്ബോള്‍ താരം അമീര്‍ നസ്ര് അസാദാനിക്കു വധശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചു. വധശിക്ഷാ വാര്‍ത്ത ഞെട്ടിക്കുന്നതും വേദനിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുമാണെന്ന് ഫുട്ബോള്‍ കളിക്കാരുടെ പ്രസ്ഥാനമായ ഫിഫ്പ്രോ ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു.

◾ഐപിഎല്‍ 2023 മിനി താരലേലത്തിനായി കൊച്ചിയില്‍ അരങ്ങൊരുക്കം. ഡിസംബര്‍ 23ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 2.30 മുതലാണ് താരലേലം. രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്ത 405 താരങ്ങളുടെ ചുരുക്ക പട്ടികയായി. 991 പേരാണ് നേരത്തെ രജസിറ്റര്‍ ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്. പട്ടികയില്‍ 273 ഇന്ത്യന്‍ താരങ്ങളും 132 പേര്‍ വിദേശികളുമാണ്. 87 താരങ്ങളുടെ ഒഴിവുകളാണ് നികത്താനുള്ളത്. ഇവയില്‍ 30 സ്ഥാനങ്ങള്‍ വിദേശ കളിക്കാര്‍ക്കുള്ളതാണ്.
