Valkasnam: The fastest train in India is not the Gatiman but the Vande Bharat Express. This express can travel at a speed of 180-kilometers per hour, but currently the maximum speed allowed by the railways is 160-kilometers per hour. The reason for the slow speed is the lack of durable rail tracks that can withstand this much speed, with less twists and turns !!
